SUSPENSION BRIDGE

I designed the bridge, modeled it using Autodesk AutoCAD, and constructed the physical model.

This project was created under the guidelines of the Annual Bridge Building Competition held at Oakland Technical. The objective is to design a structurally stable suspension bridge that can withstand the most weight. Participants must only use the set amount of materials given to them: balsa wood, string, and glue.

Remarkable Achievements:

● Awarded 2nd place in the competition for having a carrying capacity of 24.4 pounds, just shy of first place of 25.2 pounds.
