PHYSICS SIMULATION MODEL

Key Skills: Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Presentation

I designed this physics model using Autodesk Inventor, rendered using Autodesk 3ds Max and presented using Autodesk AutoCAD. This project aims to calculate the exact trajectories and velocities of an character's initial sprint, the optimal pulley configuration to climb the tree while minimizing physical exertion, and the ideal height and point of release during a rope swing from the tree to successfully clear the gate and land safely on the ground on the other side.

This project applies the skills from a mechanical physics course to design and solve a physical simulation with real world application. The first step was to design a scenario that would require physics calculations to solve- this model features a character in her escape from a prison of watch dogs. I modeled the scenario using Autodesk Inventor given the design parameters. From there, I used the course's physics concepts to determine the exact missing parameters necessary to solve the situation.
